Hi! Welcome to Mimi's and JusFoNo's website!
Collectively as business partners, we're JusDesignMi!

We're just 2 people that one day wanted to attempt VRChat avatar development,
and eventually picked up proficiency for it through sheer brute force and plenty of trial & error!
Nowadays, we're both very competent VRChat avatar authors;
and although we may be proficient in the same thing, our personal techniques and approach differ massively!

We've accumulated plenty of experience throughout our development journey, and have gained valuable knowledge in several areas of the workflow; our combination of skill, approach and technical know-how will provide you with our guarantee of a quality product! We do not have limits on the given creativity of any particular commission,
we can create what you want without limits, unless technical.
You may want to check out other pages of our website for further ideas on all that we can accomplish,
we offer more than just avatar commissions!

Hey, Michael here! But you can call me Mimi. I'm an Italian freelancer 3D artist.
I love technology but I have a wide interest in everything science-related, from electronic to chemistry. My first approach with 3D modeling has been back in 2015 when me and my cousin, kids at the time, spotted some tutorials on how to make cups in Blender. We had much fun recreating basic items we had on our desks, like glasses or pencils.
This "game" we played grew, developed and became one of my main hobbies. In 2020 after discovering the YouTube channel Blender Guru, I continued my learning experience following these harder tutorials, sharing the results with some friends that had my same passion, challenging ourselves to do better and better while learning together.
Later that year I decided to take a more serious approach joining the Italian Blender Community, enrolling in some courses and doing tests, further researching and expanding my knowledge about the topic. This gave me the ability to receive my first certificate, and I'm still continuing nowadays.
In 2021 I met JusFoNo, and I started to learn Unity, inspired and motivated by VR avatars around.
That allowed me to translate all my Blender knowledge in something as useful as avatar making, learning to do animations, particle systems, and then texturing and painting.
It has been a long journey for me, but a long journey together awaits!

Hi, it's JusFoNo speaking! I'm a self-taught Polish 3D generalist freelancing in the UK,
with an interest for all things digital!
My first real dive into the creative industry was through my digital media classes back in high school, where I primarily learned graphics design and briefly touched upon cinematography. From there, I slowly snowballed into other areas of the industry: art, music, video editing, level design and eventually 3D generalism (all of which you can find examples of at my Linktree)!
In addition to my digital hobbies, I also have a great interest for language studies! The first few Covid-19 lockdowns gave me plenty of free time, which gave me a great opportunity to start learning Spanish and the overall study of languages - the former of which I now have chosen as a college course, among Psychology and Law.
All in all, I adore uniqueness, creativity, and making things work! I always strive to learn more, and my current goal is to learn scripting in C# and game development in Unity!

It is imperative that you read through all terms listed.
We will know if you fail to do so; your competence is invaluable to ensuring that you receive what you want!
We reserve the right to change, add or remove any of these terms and conditions at any time.

Currently, our commissions are CLOSED.
However, if you would still like a place in the queue, feel free to inquire us anyway!

Payments will be sent to Mimi using their paypal.me or Ko-fi link.
We allow for payment upfront, or payment after the commission is completed.
Certain conditions differ depending on when the payment is sent, as described below.

We give prices via quotes, final and estimate. This means that we do not have a dedicated price sheet detailing absolutely every single thing one could commission, that would quite frankly be impossible. All prices are tailored for the specifics of what the client wants.
If you're wondering how much your commission would cost, please message either of us and we will give you a quote.

This is where you pay the price of the commission upfront, before we start.
This will grant you PRIORITY - this means that we will start your commission sooner than those who do not have priority, and your commission will have a shorter queue time.
The price will be decided before the commission is started, and you will be able to see clearly how much each individual aspect costs, as well as the total price of the commission altogether.
With upfront payment, you may not change any aspects of the commission already agreed upon (e.g. asking to add an additional item after the payment has already been made), unless you're willing to pay a second time for the additions. Should you wish to remove any aspect of the commission after it has already been paid for, you may suggest an alternate addition which amounts to the same cost of the previous aspect.

This is where you pay the price of the commission after we finish it.
Upon discussing all the details of your commission, we will give you a rough price estimate. You may suggest additional changes, additions or removals after we start your commission, and this will increase/decrease the price estimate accordingly.
If we have finished your commission, we will ask you to pay before you can receive it. Should you be unable to pay in the moment but will receive the funds to do so soon, there is no issue and we will wait. However, an outright refusal to pay, or a failure to respond to payment requests, will lead to these consequences listed. Additionally, should the requests to wait become repeated enough as to amount to an outright refusal to pay, these consequences will likewise be followed through:
• You will not receive your commission; and
• We will reserve the right to use your commission in any way (e.g. uploading a commissioned avatar publicly to VRChat, stripping the avatar's design of its uniquely identifying features); and
• You will be added to Artists Beware and blacklisted from our commissions; and
• We will warn other avatar authors of your conduct; and
• Your conduct will be documented on our public Trello board.
Should you choose to finally pay us after these consequences have been put forward, they will be lifted with the exception of the blacklist. You will receive your commission, but you will be blacklisted from commissioning us in the future.

This is where you pay half of the total commission cost upfront, and the other half later - such as after, or during the commission.
The same rules of UPFRONT PAYMENT apply. Likewise, if the latter half of the payment is left unpaid, the same consequences listed in PAYMENT AFTER will apply.

You can find the queue on our Trello board
Various avatars will require varying lengths of time to complete. We ask for your patience.

We allow for 3 methods of receiving your commission, should it be an avatar:
• We can upload the avatar directly to your VRChat account; or
• We can set the avatar to public, should you wish for it to be a public avatar; or
• We can give you the files of the avatar, should the circumstances allow so and at a discussed price.
The cirumstances will allow for the avatar's files to be shared, where the assets used allow for sharing, as stated by the respective author's TOS of the asset(s).
Should the commission be for an asset rather than an avatar, you will simply receive the asset files.

We permit full & partial refunds, as well as cancellations, depending on the payment type and the commission work already completed:
• Should you have paid upfront or half/half, and we have not yet started the commission, you are entitled to a full refund; or
• Should you have paid upfront or half/half, but we have already started the commission, you will be refunded for the work we have not yet finished; or
• Should you have not paid yet, and we have not started the commission, it may be cancelled freely; or
• Should you have not paid yet, but we have already started the commission, we will expect you to pay for the work we have already completed, should you wish to cancel it. Should you refuse or fail to pay us, the consequences from PAYMENT AFTER will ensue.
Additionally, for any work we create for a refunded/cancelled commission, we will reserve the right to re-use it in any future commission.

If you have any remaining questions left, please feel free to message either of us. Links to our pages are down below.
